Setting up TAGS

STEP 1: Save TAGS on your Google Drive

1.Open https://tags.hawksey.info/ on a browser of your choice.

2.Click on Get TAGS.

3. Select the TAGS v6.1.4 button. This will take you to a Google Drive window that asks you to make a copy of TAGS on your Google Drive.

4. Click on “Make a copy”.  This will  create a copy of the TAGS spreadsheet in your Google Drive.

5. Rename the Google Sheet (henceforth called: TAGS Archive) using a name you will remember!

STEP 2: Authorize TAGS on your Google Account

1.Open the TAGS Archive on your browser.

2. At the top of your screen, on the extreme right of the navigation menu, you will see a Menu option called “TAGS”.

3. Click on the TAGS Menu. Scroll down and select “Setup Twitter Access“.

4. A window will pop-up on your screen requesting for authorization. Press “Continue”

5. Select a google account to access TAGS

6. Google will display a warning sign. Don’t worry, this is a trusted app. At the bottom of the page click on “Go to TAGS v6.1 Client (unsafe)”

7. Click on “Allow” to enable TAGS to connect to Twitter

Step 3: Authorize and Sign-in to Twitter

8. The next step is to set up Twitter Authorization. Select “Easy Setup”.

9. Next, you will receive a prompt from Twitter. Select “Sign in with Twitter”. Enter a valid username and password to log in to twitter.

10. Almost there! Select “Authorize app”, when prompted by Twitter

11. and we are DONE! If you see the message below, you have successfully linked your twitter account with TAGS
